Refunds
LeadAtomic is supplied by JP TRADER HOLDINGS (Pty) Ltd (registration 2022/332861/07), trading as LeadAtomic.
Payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Limited or its affiliate, which acts as the merchant of record for every purchase. In practice that means Paddle is the seller on the transaction: Paddle charges your card, Paddle issues your invoice, Paddle handles the tax, and Paddle processes any refund under this policy.
You will see Paddle, not LeadAtomic, on your card statement. That is expected, and it is not a billing error. Ask us for anything about your plan or your account; refunds and invoices can come from either of us, and we will not bounce you between the two.
If you are within 14 days of your first payment on a plan, you can have that payment back in full. You do not need to give a reason, and we will not ask you to sit through a retention conversation to get it.
Email admin@leadatomic.com from the address on the account, or raise it directly with Paddle. Once approved, the refund is issued to your original payment method. How quickly it appears is your bank’s decision rather than ours, but it is usually a few working days and can be up to ten.
The window runs from the first payment on the plan — not from the day you signed up, and not from the last time you used the product.
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not cut short the period you have already paid for.
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Renewal payments are not covered by the 14-day window — that window applies to the first payment on a plan.
Cancelling before a renewal date is how you avoid a renewal you do not want. If a renewal genuinely took you by surprise — you meant to cancel and did not, and you have not used the new period — write to us. We would rather refund it than hold you to a month you never intended to buy, and we will say yes to that far more often than not.
To be clear about what that is and is not: any refund outside the 14-day window is granted entirely at our sole discretion, as a goodwill gesture rather than an entitlement. Nothing in this section gives you a right to a refund or obliges us to grant one, and granting one on a past occasion does not oblige us to grant another.
Said here rather than in a support reply, because finding out later is worse than reading it now:
If a defect, outage, or mistake of ours meaningfully cost you a period you had paid for, tell us. Depending on what happened we may extend your access, return research credits, or refund money — and where we do, we will pick whichever actually puts you back where you should have been, rather than whichever is cheapest for us.
This is deliberately not a service-level agreement and does not create one. It is a statement of how we intend to behave when we are the reason you lost something.
If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us or Paddle first. Almost everything is faster to fix directly than through a card dispute, and a chargeback raised before anyone has been asked usually ends with the account suspended while the dispute runs — which helps neither of us.
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the law that applies to you, including consumer rights that cannot be contracted out of. Where a mandatory legal right gives you more than this policy does, the law wins.
This policy sits alongside our Terms of Service and the terms Paddle presents at checkout.
